I’ve been applying the Feng Shui knowledge I’ve studied to my own office. After the earthquake earlier this year, I shifted from using the calculations of Period 8 to those of Period 9. That meant relocating my desk to align with the energies of this new cycle.
Why make the change?
The earthquake at the beginning of the year altered the building’s energy in Bangkok. In Chinese metaphysics, this is seen as a Period Change—a shift that happens every 20 years. Now that we’ve entered Period 9 (2024–2043), relying on Period 8 methods (2004–2023) no longer matches the present energy flow.
